Alzheimer's Memory Walk Saturday
An Alzheimer's Memory Walk to raise funds to end Alzheimer's disease is planned from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, on the Port of Bandon's boardwalk in Old Town.
The Memory Walk will begin at the picnic shelter on the Bandon boardwalk and proceed to the South Jetty and back to the picnic shelter. Those who complete the Memory Walk and raise $50 will receive a Memory Walk T-shirt.
Walk forms will be available on Sept. 13 at the picnic shelter. For those who want to do fundraising, Memory Walk packets are available at the Bandon Chamber of Commerce and at Heritage Place.
All donations for the Memory Walk are tax deductible as charitable contributions. Checks should be made payable to the Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
